In a unexpected partnership that breaks conventional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where hints of prohibited ceremonies and monstrous metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine group.
The mission centers on "strange trials and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the quest will receive an special katana together with numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
